About XY Trading

Established in 1997, XY Trading Co., Ltd. is a private company (Registration number: 102747356) operating businesses under the XY Group of Companies.

Our History

In 1988, our family began trading rice, beans and palm oil, while simultaneously running a peanut-oil factory in Hinthata, which is in the Ayeyarwaddy Region. Then in 1993, we relocated to Yangon, and since then we have been trading rice to other states and regions within Myanmar. Afterwards, in 2008, we began exporting to other countries.
In 2019, the turnover of the XY Group of Companies exceeded USD 60 million and since then, the yearly turnover have grown to approximately USD 70-80 million (export and import included).

What We Do Today

Today, we participate in the whole chain of the rice industry through processing, and exporting. We also export bean and pulses, and yellow maze and import wheat, fertilizers, and lubricants.
We export to countries within Europe including Belgium, Netherland, UK, France, Poland, Lithuania and more. Additionally, we also export to China, Indonesia, Philippines, Bangladesh, and West Africa.

Having been in this industry for decades, we are committed to supporting the continued development rice industry and strive to become one of the leaders of the Myanmar Rice Industry.
